Best film out settings

Hello,

I've searched and searched, I have the book, but I am curious cause I keep finding conflicting info. What are the best detail, v det, core settings for my HPX 170 going out to film eventually, I use mainly cineD. I know the book says lose all detail, but it doesn't say what to set coring too for film out. Or VDet for that matter. Then I find posts that say that actually detail is good and that no detail was a bad idea. I know coring and detail go hand in hand

Now we've been matching with a 200a(hpx coring at +2, det-2, vdet-1) and I'm happy with the images, but we're about to change settings completely(between dream-worlds), so this is my best chance to adjust settings. Like I said I'm pretty happy with the level of sharpness to softness, but I would like to know if there is something incredibly contradicting with the values like this.

I am definitely going to experiment more with -det and -coring, I've always softened my videocams since college days, I like the effect on the pixels. Any thoughts are appreciated, thanks.
