Best FCP Timeline settings for multiple formats

So I'm starting a new project that will be delivered via DVD and 720p download. I am shooting with GH2s in 1080 24p & 720 60p and I also have some footage in 1080 60i. I will be doing some slow motion shots in the project.

I'd like to know what the best timeline setting is for this. 1080 24p, 720 60p, or other?

Right now my timeline is 720 60 frames per second and everything seems fine except the 60i footage takes forever to render so I guess I need to deinterlace it?

My other question is if I change to a 24p timeline can I copy and paste the editing I've done already from the 720 timeline?

Thanks for the help!!

Were you shooting the 720 60P for slow motion? If so I would just drag a clip shot at 1080 24p and drop it into a new timeline and use the sequence setting from that clip. Then conform the 60P to 24P with cinema tools and drop those in.

Yes, some of the 60p footage will be slow motion but not all of it. I shoot action sports so maybe I'm better off filming everything in 720 60p even if it's a landscape shot that won't be in slow motion? That will make things a lot easier to work with. So I could use a timeline set to 720 60p and export to 720 at 29.97 fps when it's finished.
