Are you referring to the more inexpensive filters by Tiffen? The ones with the white box?Opted for a set of tiffen nd's instead.
That's interesting. I think due to budget, im gonna be geting the FaderND since the 77mm is only 125 bucks. if i was gonna spend 400 on a faderND, id probably just sack up and get a mattebox setup and then use 4x4...Bloom did a review of this Fader recently:

Said it was the sharpest and only vignetted slightly on his 11-16 Tokina. No color change. I think he also talks about a few others in the review. Right now I use a FaderND as well, and I am happy with it.

Are you happy with color shift (if any) even when stacking up filters?
(Norman Bates has answered this already, but I am just checking)

.
where did u get it frank. I've been looking all over for it.
I have high hopes for the Tiffen Variable ND announced at NAB (77mm only)
Probably not as much as the DSLR cameras have already made themI bought my FaderND to use on my 7D originally.
....the percentage of people who are actually
using the FS100 for shooting 'motion' is much higher than that of the
stills cameras, at least I would think so.
