Best Export Settings

What are the opinions on the best export settings from FCP for these outputs when using AVCHD to Pro Res 422 :

DVD
Review from a laptop onto a projector

Just curious of what others are doing

I generally use h.264 720p can get closer to the 3000kbit range, I have used mpeg 2 through compressor for dvd decent results. For the from the computer to the projector I gauge that on what system is available.

Thanks any other codec result info is greatly appreciated.
