Best Export in Avid

I'm editing 720p footage and I need to export to the best quality. The only one that seems like its close is Quicktime...but it looks brighter and more grainy than the original.
And when I try HDV, it says "HDV export is not supported in project".
I need help exporting...
BTW, Quicktime Reference doesn't seem to work for me either.

Thanks in advance.

I wanted to add...I've been changing the compression on Quicktime settings. I've had some pretty promising results...EXCEPT in scenes that are predominently blue. Those scenes tend to have a lot of noise and are a little brighter (which is definitely not in the original mxf files).

Please Help!

I'd use h.264 on the export. Don't have my system in front of me with specific
settings but I'd look on this forum for best settings. I had a HD video and
racked my brains trying to get a good way to export with high quality. I
bought Sorenson Squeeze, Canopus etc.. and about sh#* myself after
exporting using Apple's h.264 export option in Avid. The results were
great and so was the compression. Sorry couldn't give you more.

What are you planning to do with the exported video? If I'm exporting HD footage to Fusion or some other video processing application I use the DNxHD codec.
