Best editing supplement to final cut pro

I shot some footage on the sony z1u and the picture looks good, but I'm trying to get some added saturation and adjusting a little bit of the gamma in post using fcp 5.
I shot the footage in cineframe 30. I don't need to deinterlace -- just for the overall picture to look better. I hear that nattress is good, but is it only for de-interlacing or will it help the overall look even if the footage is shot in cineframe 30? Thanks for any help.

You could use the "overused" magic-bullet, but honestly, there is nothing that you cant acheive with a good NLE like Shake, or even after-effects if you are willing to work a little. Most of them have a "saturation" and/or "gama" slider that can increase saturation or gamma at the click of a button.
