Best DVX Settings for Mixed Camera Shoot

We're getting a group of shooters together to document a big outdoor public performance. It's all volunteer. We have a few DVX100bs, an HVX200 a Canon XL1 and a Canon Elura 80. I'm looking for suggestions for camera settings for best image compatibility. I would think shooting at 60i would present the least problems, but there is a desire to get a "film look" since the event will be somewhat surreal and fantastic, so we're considering 30p as a compromise. How well does 30p and 60i play together on the timeline?

Also if anyone has a suggestion for Scene File settings, that would be great.

Does the XL1 have 30p or is that only the xl1s? if it does, i would consider not using the elura80 at all.

Btw what event in seattle are you covering/when? i have an HV20/GL2 and i'm located in seattle if you need any help.

This post seems to sum up the facts about 30p and the XL1: (the camera is 5 yrs old I am told)

As far as the Elura goes, I would like to give that person a DVX to shoot with, but it's a community effort with people volunteering their time and equipment. The Elura shooter is to blend in with the actors (she'll have a costume on) for the POV shots.

I would like to shoot progressive (30p?) if possible, but I'm not sure if it's worth the headache of trying to cut it with 60i footage later.
Also what would the best Scene File settings be to best match everything. And XL1 settings?

Yes!... you are more than welcome to come and help! It's a huge event dowtown with over 200 actors doing an interactive performance. I'll PM you with details...
