Best DSLR Rig for fast pasted travel shooting

Hello,
I'm going to be traveling and shooting while doing so.
This is part of a travel TV show.
It needs to be shot on DSLR.
For Camera's I'm covered. What I need is a rig.
I have a Jag35 shoulder rig that I like, but it's slow to set up and it's big and bulky. I need something small that can be set up fast, can take a beating, light weight and get's the job done.

Please give me some suggestions from experience. It would be greatly appreciated.

*Please don't post saying there are better cameras for this job...I know there may be; but that's well besides the point.

Thanks!

(1) Zacuto DSLR baseplate

(2) Zacuto 15mm rods f/f approx. 5" long

(2) Redrock Micro Handgrips (buy (2) 8" RRM Grip Rods & (2) RRM microHandGrip accent kits, and stuff cut bicycle grip foam between handle and grip. It provides many more mounting options for future usage than plain grips)

(1) Viewfinder (x3 or x2.5 eye piece style) with chamois eye cup cover

This is not cheap, but it will get you started with a compact system that travels well, is almost bombproof, offering stability with room to build a fully decked out shoulder, studio, or tripod rig as finances permit. Don't use an LCD monitor if you're going spartan.

For added stability, a small shoulder support arm can be configured from (1) 8" RRM Grip Rod, (1) RRM microBrace body pad, and (1) Zacuto Z-Mount II without much added bulk or weight.

when I'm traveling and working i bring my Manfrotto sticks with my 701 head. Then when i need a target shooter style rig on the light and cheap I take the handle off of the head. with the use of a couple of washers it will screw right into the bottom of the camera. Throw on the loupe as a point of contact with it and your in business for super cheap. that's when i am truly bare bones. When i have a bit more room for gear i bring my ebay rig. Lots of guys are selling it but here is a good deal

Its collapsible and stays pretty small when its folded down.
