Best clip-on Lav mic?...

I am looking for a good lav mic, something that sounds great, does not pic up external sounds, XLR to hook up to the HMC150.

Any suggestions? What are you using now?

Search the audio forums - lots of options depending on your budget - I'm a fan of the countryman b3 myself.

The Sony ECM-88 is wonderful and works well under almost all conditions. The Sony ECM-55b is the traditional "studio standard," and works especially well when placed under a layer of clothing. In fact, when used properly, that 55b can truly impress.

I use Tram TR 50s and Countryman B6s. Super reliable, excellent sound and not obtrusive. Like always depends on your budget but check the audio forum for sure. So while I was writing this I realized I should also mention the Sanken COS 11.
