I'm doing a film about a killer that runs over people with his car, so I was wondering what were the best scenes in previous movies portraying a hit and run. The end of the last Final Destination sort of sticks out to me, but it was all in x-ray vision and obviously CGI, but still hard to watch and insanely brutal. Any other great hit and run scenes in movies?

Bride of Chucky. Token gay guy steps out into traffic and gets nailed by a semi.

It's by far the funniest thing in the whole movie.

This classic Pat Morita and Jay Leno cop film has one:

Although, I guess this one is more like a person running over a car in a sense.

"The Hitchhiker" from Creepshow 2 shows many ways to deal with someone you don't want in your car.

another scene that comes to mind is in The Toxic Avenger...there's a scene that explicitly shows a kid on a bike getting run over by Jersey boys in a Camaro(for points!)...that's all i got.

Oh, come on, the original Death Race. It's not even close--

Not sure if this qualifies as run over, but KICK-ASS has a nice hit'n'run.

If you want movies about cars that kills people or people killing people with cars, DEATHPROOF and CHRISTINE comes to mind.

There's also a 1977 low budget horror movie called CRASH!, but that's so obscure it seems impossible to find a copy. You'll have to look at the bootleg VHS market for that.

Haha alot of great ones to draw inspiration from...The Joe Black one was pretty hilarious, and of course the Donnie Darko one is a classic, as well as Death Race

One of the last episodes (second to last episode, maybe) of last seasons Breaking Bad has a great vehicular double kill.
