this is one of the best bags i ever purchased, the inside has removable spacers for everything, has tons of pockets, has a removable tripod holder and a notebook compartment,even a insulated pocket for batterys

i need a baggy bag.
someone stole mine with my charger/adaptor, lense cover, and my wallet and identity.
Fortunately, the HMC-40 (purchased less than a week prior) was around my neck at the time.

It fits great (although it won't hold a large tripod, and the camera sits on its side), and you don't even have to take it off to get to your equipment - just slide an arm out, swing it around your hips, and *boom* you're swapping lenses or doing whatever it is that you need to do. I keep the HMC40, a large fisheye lens, an extra battery (you could probably fit two in there), a WB card (there's a pocket for this), assorted cleaning equipment (in an enclosed pouch velcro'd to the top of the compartment), and other things in the main compartment, with space to spare (I can easily fit a jacket between the viewfinder and the enclosed pouch). The side pocket has two velcro tabs that are a perfect fit for extra SDHC cards, a pair of pen/pencil slots, a pair of note/card slots, and webbing to hold change or your wallet/phone/etc in while it's opened.

I wanted one bag I could take on a hike to carry a lot of gear. I picked the Kata Pro-Light Bumblebee 220 (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ..._220_Pro_Light_Bumblebee_220_PL_Backpack.html).
It holds my HMC40 with the handle, XLR package, and the mic holder that comes with it. I also keep three mics including the Rode NTG-2, several lengths of XLR cable, a set of Sennheiser G3, spare battery, a SDHC case, my MacBook Pro 15", and some miscellaneous cables, power adapters, etc.
With all this stuff the bag can get pretty heavy (duh!). It also comes with a rain cover and a tripod holder. The tripod holder is designed for a tripod smaller than my Sachtler. It can hold it, but I wouldn't want to be hiking anywhere with that strapped on.

I've always been a huge Kata fan, and I have the Kata R-102, see the post here (including photos):

It was the minimum size I could get that could comfortably hold my HMC40 and all the accessories I need. It's great for carrying all day long, I carried it all round Scotland for a whole week on holiday without any hassles. Excellent backpack.

This can be either a standalone accessories bag (WA lens, cables, zoom remote etc.) that goes over your shoulder or round your waist, or it can clip to the R-102 or R-103 to provide extra storage, all in one easy to put on/take off system. Living where I do, I also like that Kata bags come with their own rain covers, so if you get a downpour you can wrap everything up and be totally waterproof.
