Can some one give me some tips on a good battery system?

The Anton Bauer with the belt mount seems to be the way to go, is there anything cheaper that will give me a good run for the buck?

Thanks

I found the sony 960 brand new on ebay for around $40. Runs most of the day. I can't imagine you'd need more than 2 of these.
Good luck!

The Anton/Bauer QR-DVX Gold mount allows you to run the DVX and accessories from the same battery. The bracket provides a 7.2 volt output to the camera, and a powertap output to run lights. If you need to run additional accessories, purchase a powertap multi- this will give you four outputs--allowing you to run, light, (2) wireless receivers and hard disc recorder all from one battery. Many of the batteries have a 3 year warranty and also have the real-time display. The realtime display lets you know how much battery is remaining-- it will recalculate the remaining battery runtime when you turn accessories on or off.
There are many Gold mount adapters depending on which camera you are using.

If you want to turn your camera into a true shoulder mount camera, use a STASIS system:
