Best and or Best/Affordable Nikon to M 4 3 adapter

I've read really good things about the Novoflex Nikon to M 4 3 adapter. But it's pricey. Is it functionally the best Nikon adapter for the GH2?

Anyone try the Voightlander Nikon adapter? About 100 dollars cheaper.

I've heard the Fotodiox Nikon adapters are not too user friendly, and maybe should be avoided. Any truth to this?

Any other recommendations?

Agree - if you have Nikon lenses with manual aperture the Voightlander is really solid. However, if you need to control aperture with the adapter (Nikon G lenses) then consider the Novoflex. Think I remember reading about parts falling off the Fotodiox, but don't hold me to that.

I have the Voigtlander. very solid but not the cheapest. I heard good things about Metabones that suppose to be cheaper. Also, if you intend to use G lenses, you need special ones that I only have seen on Ebay.

I bought a cheap plastic and aluminum one off of eBay for $20 a year ago and it's been rock solid. There's not a scratch on it in all that time. It's certainly not as small as that awesome looking Voigtlander.

I have 2 cheap ones for around 20$ each too, both able to adjust aperture on G lenses, one from rainbow imaging, one from Hong Kong via ebay. After a first adjustment they both hold lenses rock solid and they are built surprisingly solid too, made from aluminium.

Never had anything on my GH13 but the Voightlander. Recommended by a photographer friend I trust. Paid $179. Every Nkon lens I've ever had on it doesn't move, but that isn't the case with a friend's Mark IID. With his cheaper adapter the Nikon's twist a little. Not so on my GH13. Plus the lenses change quickly and easily. Feels good to have a well machined slug of metal when you're attaching heavy glass. Plus, I like shooting manual. If you get one, you won't regret it.

GH13
Nikon 55mm f1.2, 35mm f1.4, 300mm f4.5, 105mm f2.5, 200mm f4, 24mm f2.8, 28mm f2,

I have the Fotodiox which so far seems to be working fine but it cost like 1/8th what the Novoflex does so if it does start falling apart it's not going to come as like a galloping shock or anything.

Don't forget the even more pricey adaptimax, from their website it's over $400 shipped to the US, ouch. Bhphoto lists it for $399, but not in stock yet.

Newbie here with a question...I recently bought a Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 AIS the nifty fifty and I was wondering if I can use this lens with the Voigtlander F adapter or do I need to get the Novoflex adapter?

With manual aperture Nikon lenses any adapter will do.

The newer G style Nikon lenses require a more expensive adapter that can control the lens aperture like these brands: Adaptimax, Novoflex, MTF Services

I've been using the Voightlander adapter for the past 5 months and it has worked flawlessly. Nice firm mounting with no play at all.

I plan on buying the expensive Adaptimax mount to be able to use G style Nikon lenses, and to obtain very fine aperture control with Nikon AIS lenses. ( the Adaptimax adapter uses a threaded screw to adjust the lens aperture )

In the low cost range, I've heard good things about the MetaBones adapters that are sold on eBay. They cost about $90, but are supposed to be very similar to the build quality of the Voightlander adapter.
