We're getting ready to shoot a feature this fall on my 5D and I plan on either shooting with Zeiss ZF lenses or possibly the new Zeiss Compact Primes 2.
There will be a driving scene and a funeral scene, both will be during the daytime. I'm planning on purchasing a Redrock Micro Mattebox, but I want to get some good quality 4x4 ND filters...no grads. Obviously I don't want just some cheap low-quality resins. I need filters that won't counter-act the quality of the Zeiss lenses. I'm thinking I'll probably starting with a .6 and a 1.2 and possibly get a .3 or a .9 down the road.
And if I can keep it below $500...at least for the first two, my producers will like me more
