Best 35mm Adapter

Justin, Have you ever compared the Brevis and the M2 in the same environment on the same shot with the same camera.

If not, I can't take any statements about image quality too seriously.
So far no one has done this and sent us a report.

On handheld shots (not using and external monitor that can flip the picture vertically), how is it possible to "work" with the Brevis if the image from the viewfinder is upside down? Am I missing something here?

You missed searching - there are certain ways to flip the onboard monitor (hint: magnets or harware modding)...
And a lot of the guys are also using an hotshoe attached Marshall for handheld work...

Side by side? no.. If I did that, it would be nice to mention, ya think? ;-)

I'm going by what I have seen via footage a friend that has the brevis has shot recently.. Hence what I said in my previous post, (dont have much to judge)..

You should specify that you only want responses from people that have done side by side tests.. As that is quite specific.. and add "the same lens" to your list, as I could do the same shot with a different lens and the results would be.. well.. different..

Good luck with your purchase :)

Justin, I'm not saying you shouldn't post your observations, just that in that kind of comparison it would seem very hard to me to judge relative sharpness. Even different detail settings would throw it off completely, let alone the situation, the lenses, the monitor etc.

I'm really interested in how the Brevis compares to the M2, but so far nothing I've read is really reliable. I own an m2 already and am thinking about getting a 2nd unit. It seems to me that since the M2 is barely sharp enough, that if the Brevis was noticeably worse people would be complaining, but who knows.

What's the light loss for the m2? As far as I know the brevis 35 is .5 .7 stops, which is pretty hard to beat...
