Bescor VS65 on camera light with spare bulb and MM-7NC battery. I used to use this on my vx1k, it put a decent amount of light. When shooting at dusk it added a lot, and was in some cases was even able to shoot lines in a completely unlit area. Unfortunately I can't find the charger, but i'm still keeping my eyes out for it.
