Bescor HP-3NC Charging Question

Hey everyone,

I'm a long time forum browser but just purchased my first DVX the other day. so I figured it was finally time to create an account and partake/contribute to this great community.

I recently purchased a bescor light kit (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/64411-REG/) and am wondering what the full charge time is on the HP-3 batteries. I understand the partial use recharging equation but nowhere in the directions did it say exactly how long a full charge takes. I've in some other forums that it is about 8 hours but just wanted to see if anyone here knew for sure. Thanks.
 
do you have a multimeter? if so, you can carefully monitor the voltage of the battery and get it just right. a full charge on both the MM-7 and the HP-3 is around 13.5 volts from what i've heard.
 
I actually ordered one the other day for another side project I'm working on so I will have one soon. Thanks for the info.
