Berkey Systems Baseplate for FS100 (Does it fit the FS700?)

I have just listed one in the marketplace... And someone asked if the Berkey System Baseplate fits the FS700?

Does anyone know?

I also have the Berkey FS100 top plate for sale...

And the Sony kit lens 18-200...

Okay I got an answer back from the man himself, Brian Berkley. (And was reminded of how awesome the customer service is at Berkey System -truly outstanding) Please give your money to this company! Not only are the products top notch but the service is better than I've ever experienced before. (Can you tell I'm sick of companies that don't reply to emails etc?)

The FS100 baseplate does fit but it's a little short and you can line up either the front holes or the rear holes but not both at the same time....so yes, it sort of works.

We were lucky to get our hands on the FS 700 two weeks ago and took measurements and just finished with the first run of a five of new baseplate tops for the FS 700 and we will have an FS 700 here on Wednesday or Thursday to check them.

So we should have the FS 700 baseplate all checked out and ready to sell in about two weeks. If you already have the FS 100 baseplate and just want to replace the top plate on it so it will work with the FS 700, I think the top plate only will go for about $125.00. For the complete FS 700 baseplate the price will be the same as the current FS100 baseplate.

For slightly more money, we'll also be offering a version that uses the F3 bottom baseplate plate so guys that want to use their FS 700 with an Arri bridge plate (19 mm or 15 mm) can do so.

A top cheeseplate for the FS 700 is also in the works. Hopefully the top cheeseplate will also be done in a couple of weeks - right before the camera gets here.

It's amazing how well Brain thinks with you and how good the service of Berkley is indeed. Ordered my gear several times online with different compagny's and still think the service of Berkley is the best.
The gear is superpro and exelent but the service stands out especially. If you ordered here you know what I mean.
 
Brian is a top guy and his company's gear is first rate. I don't what I would done if the Berkey top plate hadn't come out so soon after the F3 was launched.

Since i received 1 out of 2 FS-700 last week
i email him back to get some news about his FS-700 line
BOOOM
He Call me back 30min later to tell me that he was shipping some part (prototype/FirstBatch) for the FS700 so i coud test it.
WOOW That made my day!!!
 
Now here is a case where you really get what you pay for +1 for Brian Berkey and his excellent service and products. My whole kit is from Berkey and I started with just a baseplate but when I got it I realized this type of hand made quality just could not be beat. It is not hipster gear it is PRO gear that works and is not about how cool it looks or makes your rig look...like I said it works.
