Recently wrapped on my latest short (and first short after moving to Auckland, NZ).
BEMUSE: Jade awakes to find herself alone in a dark barn as the sounds of an ensuing battle echo in from outside.

Shot on a Blackmagic 4K in a single location, with an awesome crew, in a single day, with a budget of NZ$600.
The cast and crew were absolute champs, especially after a 15 hour day. I've worked with all of them before (having worked in the local industry during the first few months of living here) which meant we were all tightly knit already.
Here's also a rough behind-the-scenes video from footage captured on the day:
The film has been sent off to a few festivals, and I just got word yesterday that it will be screening at this years Tampa Bay Underground Film Festival, in Florida, USA. I'll update this post as we pick up (hopefully) more selections.
