Being Careful with LCD monitor

From someone who has tried this and screwed the camera up, or from anyone who knows- can you rotate the LCD screen 180 degrees and fold it back into the camera itself? I remember reading reviews before I bought the camera that everyone loved how you could do this- so one person could look through EVF while the D.P. is at his side checking frame with the LCD monitor. Anyone with and answer is appreciated.

You definitely can. Just be sure to rotate it the right direction, it'll only go one way, so don't force it.

Sweet, thanks. So, there would be nothing wrong with just leaving the LCD in that position?

Yes, I'll watch out for that. I was just wondering, since the manual says to not do that, if in reality it was allright. But, still, I wanted to make sure, because doing it could probably ruin my warranty.

One more thing, I accidentally smudged my LCD with my finger. What's the best way to clean it without damaging it further? Thanks guys.
