Behind the scenes videos of "Diner for Two"

As many of you know, "Diner for Two" was a very popular short film that was entered into QuestFest and won third place.

Last night was the premiere party for cast, crew, families, friends, etc.

To add to the entertainment (a 7 1/2 minute long video is pretty brief) a few videos were made, and I just uploaded two of them onto vimeo for everyone here to see.

First, a behind the scenes video, for those of you who wanted to know what it was like on the set, now you can see.

And secondly, a video (with quite possibly the WORST auto selected screen grab of me ever) demonstrating some of the audio work done in the film. It's pretty primitive and not made necessarily for THIS demographic (referring to y'all here), but was shown as sort of a DVD special feature to entertain families and friends.

ENJOY!

Re BTS vid......

Thanks for sharing and while it looks like a lot of fun and I know it was primarily shot for crew, family and friends, I'd much rather see more of the camera, lighting sound set ups than the goofing off.

As an inexperienced wannabe filmmaker that's the kind of stuff I'm interested in, I think we can figure out the goofing off stuff ourselves.

As I said though I know I wasn't the intended audience. I think the foley one should personally be of more interest.

re Foley Featurette

Thanks for showing this.
Not all of us are pro's or even competant so even though we might have some idea about foley work it's great to see it done in practice.

One technical question though.
Is it extremely important to have one's trousers pulled up that high when recording footsteps? Looks a bit painful. LOL

They both looked good! I loved the film and I LOVE watching BTS on any film ever made so this was pretty awesome. Thanks for sharing.
