Behind the scenes shots (30 pics)

Nice pictures, very enjoying. Cool to see all these behind the cam (dvx100) pix ;)
Would bee cool to see some of the finished shots from these "behind the cam" pictures.

forget the setup, who's the cute girl? Dude, you kind of remind me of Vin Diesal's little brother if he had one. Hah! I'm intrested to see this footage!

It was cool just to have someone there taking pictures other then me! haha

The dolly was made with a little bit of fairy dust.... j/k man.... PM me.

Lighting was all sorts of things but in some specific shots 150 watt bulbs were used.... they actually were impressive on the DVX screen....

BLUE, you're too funny bro! LOL

Looks like good fun
try some rigged soft boxes made out of poster board or foam core to soften the light keep a crew member near by with a fire extinguisher so they dont burn up the building !!!
also
did you pick up color contamination by bouncing light off those brown shinny walls?????
or was it all looking good on the monitior .????
Tell the beautiful girl that i worked for American Vouge at one time and that she should drop everything and head for New York!!!!She needs to get into modeling!!!
she would get top jobs (no kidding) and she would own her own ranch inside of two year !!
Good luck to all of you and try some bounce light and some foam core for softer lighting ...it is just a matter of choice ,,
Cheers
Bruce

yeah used mostly 150 watt lights and had an omni lowell 3 light kit 1500 watts (500 watts a piece)
this was a spooky type of short so needed to keep the lights low key...

great shots, nice to see you guys in action.

uhm... I'll buy your dvd just to see the girl :)
she is very cute!

oh and i'm interested in the film too... hehehe

actually a lot of the shots I was going for harder light, more creepty than making everyone look more beautiful which I couldn't even stop witht he actress... oh well...
gels weren't even used and coffee (jay) refused when I tried... lol...
i didn't see the footage on the tv yet... but it looked good while we were shooting...

Very inspirational, I hope to shoot my short the with the same consistency of shots. Would like to see a more diversed group of location pics though.

This is great! I sometime wish to have somewhat a crew like yours... It seems like a very controlled atmosphere, were you ordering people around? i bet you were! thanks for posting! definitely post the short when finished...
