Behind the Scenes music clip

Shot this today (Saturday) testing Robbie Comeau's scene file from his guitar tapping clip.

I have added a slight vignette and used "Punchy" preset in AE. Shot in 25p Squeeze and shutter 1/250th.

Sunday I've got 3 clips to shoot in full and will use his scene file again, i'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

I wasn't used for the main shoot today and you will see by the two EX1's doing all the work (which were set at 1080 50i BTW) . Tomorrow we use only the DVX and shoot 25p.

D A M N!
Shaun, you're kicking ass (as usual)!
Gorgeous looking stuff!

*tell me it's not -13 ped though!

I'm jumping over to see Robbie's scene file right this minute.
Gotta try that out.

**Are the EX's footage and yours (from this coming Sunday) going to get mixed together?
Interesting.

Hey mate,
thanks for the comments , master ped at -4 I used, a little more than Robbie, the footage from the EX1's won't be mixed with mine, it will be used for the actual clip and unless they do some heavy CC and modifying to give it that "MOJO", it won't cut it being 1080i, don't get me wrong, the footage from the EX1's is so sharp and clean, but to me it looks like a soap opera and not a music video. I spoke to him about shooting 720 25p and 50p and it seemed all to hard for him to grasp.

BTW, my shoot on Sunday was really special,,, the talent was great, very camera genic and worked well, the DVX's footage was on song and my arms are a wreck from a whole day of glidecam(handheld, no magic arm vest). We only put the DVX on the tripod once for an interview with the artist and handheld a couple of times when I went in real close for some guitar strumming shots.

I will have to talk to the producer before I can post an grabs of footage (just to be safe)

Nice look...a bit 2 dark for me . What did u white balance to when u use Robbie's file?

I just used a plain white card mate. The original is not dark like this,,, this is the preset and vignnette from AE. After watching it a few times it made me think to CC it again. I'll take another shot I think.
