I just got my HMC-150 a week ago and I'm not sure the best workflow to deal with the footage. I'm editing on CS4 and the footage plays back a little choppy so I'm trying to convert it. I have a couple trial versions that I tried and I didn't think the footage looks that great.

I downloaded NeoScene trial version and it looks great but there's no sound. Can somebody recommend a better program for converting or how to get the sound to work in NeoScene.

Thanks a ton!

Does Edius still ship with the cam? That will edit native, and would certainly be good enough to start with until you get your legs under you. You do need some CPU power.

I got it used. It didn't have any software. I'm sure I could use a computer upgrade but that's not an option right now. I need to work with what I've got. Can anyone else help?

I'd get the NeoScene software if I could get it to work. How can I get it to convert with the sound?

You'll need to have AC3 Filter installed for sound with NEO Scene.
It's free so Google or Bing AC3 Filter and install it.
That should clear up sound issues.
