So I'm new.
I've been reading these threads on pulldown. The workflow, the software the process. For my hack I did Native 24.
Can someone point me where I can learn about pulldown? I don't understand when I would need to remove it?
Am I correct, my Native 24 edited and exported as 24, does not need pulldown removal?
So pulldown removal is mainly to extract your 24 fps, 25 fps 30 fps from an interlaced wrapper such as 60i or 50i? Correct? I only need to do pulldown removal if my source footage is an interlaced wrapper?
I would like to shoot 60 fps for slow mo and convert it to 24 fps. Would this require pulldown removal?
Likewise my 30 fps MPEG to 24 fps. (I know how to interpret footage as a different fps)
There is a lot of great info here, but I need to get up to speed on when to go through this process.
Thanks!
