Before I start cutting, just want to clarify something

I've shot several rolls of 16mm and had them telecined by colorlab, who claims to have recorded it to tape with a 3:2 pulldown, leaving 2 in 5 frames interlaced. My question is, should I use this file, or the reverse telecined version that I made in cinema tools to get rid of the interlaced frames? I believe the project must be delivered on DVD. In other words, one of them is in a 60i stream which I know will work on a DVD but might not look as good, and the other one is straight 23.98 fps which looks way better on the computer (and is significantly easier to edit with since there is no uncertainty on which frame is which) but I have no idea how well 23.98 will work on a DVD.
Thanks in advance.

Definitely go with the 24p version- pretty much all major movies/dvds/websites do this...

If you haven't gone forward already, I would definitely recommend keeping a copy of the original before going forward with the reverse telecine. (This should be standard operating procedure for... oh... EVERYTHING). Then I would agree with the other posters - Go for the 23.976 version.
