So basically I was in New York because I was in the competition in Miami, and since I won in Miami this was sort of a followup for the top winners in each category.....

We were in NYC to perform a show at the Ziegfeld and meetin Marty just came along with it

and yeah he did see mah stuff

I want to hear how you saw the crowds part and how a pair of eyes, topped by the most remarkable eyebrows you'd ever seen, caught your gaze from across the room. How he walked towards you, the whole room seething with jealously at the undivided attention he gave you... and then in a magical, majestic, if somewhat mouse-like tone he uttered the words: "nice film Monte, I thought it was good."
