WHAT IS BEAUTY?
BEAUTY is short film exploring the metaphysical overdose of Michael, a passionless and superficial bureaucrat, after he sees the most beautiful thing in the world. As Michael becomes increasingly obsessed and tormented, he'll discover the extraordinary potential of his existence.
The film will transport the audience into a highly sensorial world, as the character's inner-conflict will be portrayed through crystal-like hallucinations, clair/obscure photography and a rich soundscape composed by AKIDO.
AKIDO is the pseudonym of Canadian musical artist Kim Gaboury. With four albums and three EPs under his belt, all released through his NORDIQUE label, aKido is known for its uncompromising style best illustrated by the instrumental hit “Dancing in Chains”, the song "Thirteen" and the notorious remix of “Beggin” for ADIDAS.
