What do gas, bridge toll, beer, and raft have to do with it?
Two-hour drive one way, crossing the Carquinez Strait, hiking a half-mile, and then paddling a raft a couple hundred yards to get to it.
Beer, well, that's just self-explanatory.

What a serious pipe! Where's the video??? Skateboards?
Nope, just bikes. The photographer (not of that photo, which is a still from my HMC40) brought a board with us, but didn't really use it since we didn't clean up the pipe quite thoroughly enough for that. Kitty litter doesn't mix too well with skateboard wheels, but is fine with knobby tires.
Anyway, I'm editing the video right now (well, writing a story for it at this exact moment...) , but it won't go up until after the X-Games, unfortunately. I'll bump the post up with it once it goes live, though.
