Beachtek mixer?

Is this the Beachtek mixer that people are using with their 5D's?

With this thing I can plug any mic into the XLR, mix the audio, then send that signal into the 5D body no problem?

Or are their other audio issues with the 5D that I'm not aware of?

Beachtek are releasing a 5d specific model

I dont know if the one linked works or not

They are going to be using trickery to make the record level fixed and variable
