Battery

You might get ten hours of runtime from a (claimed) 5400mAh with some cameras, but not with an HVX200.

I would stick with a Panasonic, DVXUser, or Spec-Comm battery.

Are you talking about the Spec-Comm battery or the Lenmar? I've got one of the Spec-Comm batteries, and I've never exhausted it yet.

david... thanks for the link. I need to get a couple of more batteries again... Price is right.. Do you know what the difference is between the two on that page? For 20 bucks more?

I don't know the difference, but we were delighted with the two batteries.

The original Panasonic battery last about 40 minutes in the cold.

Each of the dolgin sold batteries never showed use after an hour.

And we are talking 28 degrees.

I have 1 original battery and 2 purchased from this site. On a recent shoot in cold weather. 23 degrees in the morning reaching up to about 40 during the day. I had the camera on all day and was shooting from 7am up to 5.30pm. On average about six or seven 8gb cards worth, occasionaly deleting unwanted clips and watching back others. The DVX user batteries were lasting about 4 hours under those conditions and the OEM never ran out as I ran out of daylight before hand.
