For the trip I just took, I just used an old Petrol camera bag I had for carry on. It fit the LT, control panel, VF, a couple Zeiss lenses and 2 hypercore 160s. I too need to get something better for air travel as carrying that around the airport hanging from my shoulder was no fun. When not flying I keep the gear in a Pelican 1610.
