Battery settings for Anton/Bauer

FYI, I was talking to a application specialist at Anton/Bauer on another
matter when he asked me about my battery settings on my HPX370.
I am using the default “Dionic 90” . He explained my battery settings may need to be adjusted. Doing so will positively affect battery performance and may help prevent early shutdown. He explained that Panasonic uses factory settings based on old battery technology. He said my HPX ( and all Panasonic P2 cameras) should be this:
Battery Type: B
Full: (100%): 17V
Near End: 12.7V
End: 11V
Just thought I would pass this along for what it’s worth.

Sounds interesting, but I'll hold off on messing with battery settings unless this thread suddenly fills up with a dozen posts from camcorder service specialists saying it's alright to do. I would much rather send the camera to get adjusted then risk frying it myself.

I was wondering about this because my 370 stops recording and reads "empty" battery even though there is still a big "2" on the Dionic 90.

Sounds like these settings might help. I don't see a down side of trying these settings, they just tell the camera how much battery power is left.
