Battery Question

I didn't leave it in the camera long enough to really let it "warm up" because I have a wedding this weekend, but all it showed for the 20 seconds I left it in there was the battery meter in the upper right corner. No minutes remaining showed. Maybe I didn't leave it on long enough? *shrug*

I have 3-large batts, 1-small batt, 3-16gb cards, and 1-8gb card.

Armed for warfare. haha
 
sorry to resurrect the old thread. I am awaiting my hmc150 so I need some extended batteries. How does IDX perform after more than 6 mths? Is it worth buying that one vs Panasonic? Do they now show remaining time in numbers?
