Battery problem with FS100

thinking of hook up a FS100 Hard Drive with HVX200, but since i will my Machine on pretty much from morning to night none stop (like wedding video) , does FS100 only boot up whenever i am recording?
or it stays up with out any energy saving program? any external power surpply?

The FS100 takes several seconds to boot up so you should have it running the whole time if you're not certain when something might happen.

You can carry spare batteries and use a seperate charger to keep the spares charged up. And you can use an external power supply to keep it running, or run it with external batteries.
