Battery powered HDMI splitter

any new suggestions for powering on field splitter? i have bought vmount universal splitter from ebay, but it is to heavy, any AA, canon battery or sony battery solution idealy already on splitter?
 
I have run an on camera monitor and a video village monitor at the end of a 30' cable with an unpowered splitter. Don't think you really need powered. I have the splitter from Small HD, maybe $50.
