Just wondering what sort of recording times do people get out of there batteries?
5400mah or 6000mah?
Cheers Pete.

I have all kinds of 5400mah batteries - $20 Ebay ones, original Panasonic ones, DVX user ones. Here's the breakdown with very approximate times, usually using the LCD and camera recording about 50% of the time:

Ebay - when new 2.5 -3 hours, older 1-1.5 hours

DVX user (just got it) - 3.5 hours

Panasonic original - when new 3.5 to 4 hours, several years old 2-3 hours

I'd say the DVX battery is the best deal since it has most of the performance of the original at half the price (assuming it retains it's capacity after some time goes by) . If you want to really economize, the Ebay batteries can do the job, just get plenty of them and don't try to use them for events where shooting is constant. And expect a slightly loose fit.

Thanks for the reply main, the camera i bought came with 2 that last about an hour so i bought 2 Ebay specials for about $20 each which arrived the other day & they only last for about an hour also so i wasn't sure wether that was all they were good for.
Where do i find the DVX versions?
Cheers Pete.

THe DVX battery was sold right here on DVXuser on the "Landmine" site in the marketplace. Best I can determine after looking at posts in the thread, it is probably out of stock. I'm sure Jason will correct me if not true. I bought mine "used" from a member (one was still in the box, another nearly unused).

The Ebay batteries vary depending on who you get them from. Mine did great for the price but your mileage may vary.
