Battery Drain

Sorry, not sure if this has been posted already, just couldn't find the other thread if there is one.

I was just doing a test with a KxS when I noticed something weird.

Using the BP-U30 battery it came with, I had about 60min of battery time and 58min of video to shoot on the card. Should be good then right?

My battery started to drain lower and lower than real time and when I had 20min of video left, the battery was dead.

anyone else experience this problem?

LCD was out, no Phantom power to mic
 
I know the camera stops recording well before the battery dies, and I have yet to see any camera display of battery time remaining be anything more than a rough guide, I'd never ever assume just because it says I have 60min left I would get anything more than 20-30 at best.

I know on some older Sony cameras they would say 200min and the owner would tell me that meant about 90min at best...
