Folks, a crew left with an AF100 and a GH1, but left without the GH1 charger. The AF100 charger looks similar to the GH1's as far as being able to accommodate the GH1 battery, but I am not certain. Does anyone know if it'd be OK to charge the GH1 battery on the AF100 charger?
Read on the back of the charger you have and compare with the Output specks from the GH1
If the specks are the same and the pattern fits, then you have a 99.999999999% chance of it to work (the 0.0000001% is just a legal thing so you can't sue me in case it doesn't work hahaha!)
The GH2 for instance reads OUTPUT/SORTIE: = 8.4V 0.65A /!\ The GH1 and GH2 have different batteries, this is just for you to know what to look for.
It probably will not plug in, but even if it did - should not do it as the AF100 charger is designed to send a fairly high charge current into the battery. The GH1 battery being much smaller will be damaged by high charging current.
