Battery Charger: Green Light Goes On For Five Seconds...

....and then when I pop the battery (stock Panasonic battery, stock Panasonic charger) into my DVX100b it tells me there's less than half power left. Is this the charger or the battery? This is very frustrating considering the camera is less than six months old.

Your battery is not accepting charge. Try a known good battery, if it works OK, here is your answer.
