Batman vs. Spiderman

Re: Batman vs. Spiderman

I had to go with "Batman", just for the fact that he is one pissed-off mean sob. :D

(when I speak of Batman, I speak of "The Dark Knight" and not that other joker)

Oh! Well that's my mistake than...

Spider-Man is in the lead though! It's like 1979, all the Pirate's fans eyes light up as the Pirates win the series!
tc,

more like 1903 when the favored Pittsburgh Pirates played the Boston Red Sox and boston beat them 5-3 :)

Great choice BOP tied it up!

Re: Batman vs. Spiderman

DC vs Marvel-

Does anyone notice that most of these superhero/supervillian clothes are kind of tight. They love wearing them skin tight outfits. I go for bluespider, i meant spiderman cause he dosen't need side kicks/fancy car/and old man that builds him special toys that makes him stronger/a belt from wal mart because it was rolling back its prices. Spiderman.

I also like family Guy.

Re: Batman vs. Spiderman

After seeing Jack Black's send up sketch of spider man, its hard to even read the superhero's name without cracking a smile.

I find it difficult to compare the tough as nails bad ass Frank Miller reinvented with a superhero whose parody seems strangely plausible ("Not GAY enough!!").

Batman all the way.

*One plus for Spidey is that he DID get to make out with Kirsten Dunst. Of course, if Batman was available, she would've been all over him.

Re: Batman vs. Spiderman

Speaking of Batman, here's a little bit from the Trivia section on IMDB for "Batman Begins":

Before Chris Nolan took over, director Darren Aronofsky was attached to make a Batman movie based on the graphic novel "Batman: Year One" and have the author Frank Miller write the screenplay. By 2003 there was a first draft screenplay with story boards, which are properties of AOL Time Warner. Warners decision for not producing the film is unknown, but based on the details that have since leaked out, it would probably have to do with the screenplay, which strayed a considerable amount from the source material, making Alfred an African American mechanic named "Big Al", the Batmobile being a suped-up Lincoln Towncar, and Bruce Wayne being homeless among other things. This is all detailed in David Hughes' book, "Tales from Development Hell".

Would have been worse than "Catwoman."

And as I understand it, Batman gets to make out with Katie Holmes, so it's a wash . . .

Re: Batman vs. Spiderman

Definitely Batman. But I really want to see TC vs. Shane Realm, now there would be a classic.

Can't we all just get along?

Re: Batman vs. Spiderman

I wish one of those were actually me. I didn't have a Spider-Man costume when I was a kid.

Re: Batman vs. Spiderman

Hey TC,
When are you going to become a moderator. You are here more than most of them?

Re: Batman vs. Spiderman

I am a mod. haha. I'm mod on the Compression and Special Effects sections.

Re: Batman vs. Spiderman

No worries. I do like posting in those sections so that I can see the "DVXuser Moderator" under my name. :P
