Hallo

I habe a big problems with my Batis lens on FS5 ..problem is focus hunting on AF mode.I have 18-105 is OK but 4.0

I can't speak from experience with the FS5 but I think the auto-focus is similar (or perhaps the same) to what is on my FS7 and that AF system is not very capable. So what you're experiencing, sadly, is totally typical and expected from these cameras. I, personally, would've preferred it if Sony would've just left it out completely so the button wouldn't just sit there...taunting me.

The fs series has a great AF in the sense that it will force you to focus manually which will make you a better shooter. It's just there to remind you to focus manually.

I work normal in manual focus 80% time :-) on ronin M or to crane i prefer AF,i have batis 18 mm is perfect,18-105 in AF is ok..in manual focus is horible..possible Batis 25 mm with FS5 in AF is not so gret .. on A6500 is just PERFECT :-) my Xeen 35 mm is full manual this is perfect butt too heavy

I use the 18mm Batis on the a6300 on a gimble and it works well in that in that capacity. In general the fs cameras don't have good AF it's also possible the focus misses were less noticeable with the 18 and more with the 25 because the focus is shallower

In manual focus,Batis is perfect for my,nice color,2,0 aperture in perfect for wedding in low light..FS5 is not too god in low light,,with this lens is ok naw :-)
