Batch DV converters (another ClipBrowser problem)

Does anyone have any suggestions for batching a whole lot of DV avi files, well, into DV avi files...

Strange yes, but needed.

I have tested the DV avi files that come out of Sony Clip Browser 2.0 and 2.5 and they definetly have some problems. While they import into Liquid and many other NLEs, I have a friend with an older Matrox system with Premiere Pro 2 and he has all sorts of problems.

I thought it was his PC until the other day. I noticed the AVI files out of CB do not display a thumbnail icon in Explorer (Vista) while the same file, exported back out of Liquid as a DV file does show the icon. Clearly this is something different in the wrapping of the file. The codec is probably just fine but the files need unwrapping and re-wrapping properly...

Guy, I've done a bunch of batch exports for a Windows-based client using the .avi export (both center-cut and anamorphic) and they have had no problems with the files. However, it's such a wild and wooly world when you jump into Windows PC's that NOTHING is to be taken for granted. Sorry you're having issues but this has been working okay for me.....so far.
