Batch Capture & keyboard

I just started using Avid Media Composer today, but there were a couple of things in the batch capture I didn't know how to do, (or maybe you can't do)...

Can I perform all my logging WITHOUT reaching for the mouse (i.e. all keyboard)?  I couldn't find a shortcut key for "log clip" (I think it's <F2> in FinalCutPro)...

Also when I tab into the "name" field, I would expect the program to be smart enough to sequentially name my clips, but as far as I can tell, I have to type the full clip name for every log...
Example, if my first clip is "jeep_dolly1", I shouldn't have to type out "jeep_dolly2" for my next clip.  Argh!

Help ?

Re: Batch Capture & keyboard

clips that are not named in the logging window take on the name of the bin with a .number attached. So if you'e bin was named jeep_dolly just adding it to the bin would get numbered as jeep_dolly.1, jeep_dolly.2 etc.

I don't know of a keyboard equivalent for "log" or add to bin. I will need to check.
