I loved the way this was shot and edited, nicely done indeed. Big fan of all the ProperMedium shorts, you guys do awesome work.
 
Have been sitting here awhile wondering where to begin with my raves after having watched this twice. Maybe that's enough said.
 
Very nice pans (slider/hand held)! Can you tell me what font you use for your logo in the bottom left? Love that.
 
That was awesome. Love the music and how you brought it back to him
playing at the end. The sunlight flooding through the window really made the
connection to the garden. Did I detect some beautiful bokeh? Yes, indeed, perfect for this.
What lenses were you shooting?
 
thanks maxdvz. used two lenses - a 55mm f1.2 canon fd and the panasonic 20mm f1.7 pancake. really good combo for shooting this kind of material imo.
 
I have a Canon FD 50mm 1.2 and have been wondering about getting either one of the panasonic pancakes (20mm or the new extra wide) to compliment it. Would you say they match well together? I mean, is there a difference in their look which might jump when cutting from shot to shot? Or am I worrying about neglectable things with that?

the pancake has a lot more contrast. the 55mm is a little red. but i think they cut together nicely.
