Basic set up question/ factory default

Does the camera setting default to a factory pre set setting when the power
is turned off?
In other words, if I set up all the modes and settings I want for a shoot the
night before and turn off the power, will the settings I did the day before still
be set where they were when the camera is turned on again? Or, will most
everything revert back to a factory pre set and have to be reset over again?

There is an internal battery in the camera that retains user information/date & time when the camera is turned off. I believe that if the internal battery is charged, it should retain all your preset information settings when you turn off the camera.

are you talking about the DVX? If so you can save your scenefile and the camera will memorize your Iris and everything. Hope thats helped
