Basic Question: How Does Scene File Interact with Manual White Balance/Exposure?

In ongoing learning curve for HMC40 I am going to try various Scene File settings using as baselines some settings I have seen on this forum (i.e. Felipe's and others). Are there any unexpected interactions HMC40 applies between Scene File and using manual adjustments (white balance, exposure, shutter speed, etc)? Do you need to make all manual adjustments BEFORE applying Scene File or can you make manual adjustments at any time?

This is one of my questions I am likely to regret asking because answers will probably be so obvious if I had taken more time to think about (or read in Barry's HMC40 book), but I am still going to ask it. Thank you Dennis

The a.iris setting will affect the iris level, if you have the camera in automatic iris. And the chroma temp settings will affect white balance, if you're in automatic or manual white balance.

Thank you Barry. I am thinking I would adjust white balance and exposure to "correct" setting and then when I apply scene file it will shift picture according to how I set Scene File settings--for instance Chroma Temp Setting will skew from "correct" towards blue or orange based on how I set it.

I should have used a better term than "correct" setting (from artistic viewpoint)--what I meant was setting that HMC40 would choose when in automatic or manual white balance would select prior to applying Scene File. Dennis
