basic equipment 4000€

hello everybody,

first i thought i need a camera and an 35mm adapter. now i know i need something else, namely a basic equipment for doing documentarys and short films.

my buget is 4000 €. today i ordered a new dvx 100 be pal. that will cost my 2800 €. so i still have 1200 €.

i think i'll need a tripod and a fluid-head. So what about the manfrotto 525 / 503HDV Kit?

than i'll need a proper stereo mic and a wireless badge micro (is that the right word? i hope you know what i mean). i think i'll need this, because in the beginning i'll be a one-man-show-team.

I'd like to use filters as well. So what about a small cavision mattebox and some filters?

i promise, the first day i get my stuff i'll put some footage online.

Hi,
I'm also very interested in that theme!
I guess it's very important to have some basic lights, probably Dedolight (or some Kino Flo)??
Could someone give some specific advise on basic lighting for documentary, for example?
