Arrggh! I'm very basic on my FCP knowledge. Sometimes (and it seems to be happening more frequently) when I add a cross dissolve between two clips that are snapped together, nothing happens. Something's there, it's like it's in the background but it doesn't have the effect. I've realigned the clips many times to make sure they are together but once that happens it seems I can't ever get it to take the transition effect. Am I doing something wrong? I'm doing the same thing with my other clips and the cross dissolve works fine. Why does it work sometimes and not all the time?
