Basic A7S II Video Settings

I'm evaluating an A7S II, it seems you can record video regardless of which mode you are in, auto, aperture, shutter priority, etc.

1. If in auto mode, and I hit record, does the camera simply shoot video based on auto settings that it determines based on metering the scene?

2. If in aperture mode, and I hit record, does the camera just take on the settings applied for stills in aperture mode?

3. I tried going into shutter priority mode and I adjusted the aperture though I could not figure out how to adjust the shutter speed. Where is the setting to do this?

3. the shutter speed, by default, is controlled by the wheel on the backof the body near the top of the body.

Oddly, the one I am evaluating does not allow me to adjust the shutter with the wheel on the back....
